Weekly Vocabulary

POWER: the possession of control or command over others.

capitalism: an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

imigration: migration into a place (especially migration to a country of which you are not a native in order to settle there).

atheis: refer to persons not inclined toward religious belief or a particular form of religious belief.

muffled: to wrap with something to deaden or prevent sound: to muffle drums.
